Sha’ban activities at IIUM Educare
Some information about Sha’ban activities and Sha’ban benefits:
Sha’ban is one of the month in Islamic Calendar. In addition, it is also the eight months that precedes the holy month of Ramadan. Therefore, during Sha’ban we are recommended for seeking forgiveness and praise Allah the Almighty. Not only that, we also are encouraged performing fasting especially in half of Sha’ban or named as Nisfu Sha’ban. Moreover, Sha’ban acts as a bridge between the holy month of Rajab and the holy month of Ramadan.
Scholars narrate that Rajab is the month of planting, Sha’ban is for cultivation, and Ramadan is for harvesting. Therefore, do plan good deeds and charity in Rajab, and performed in Sha’ban. We will enjoy the blessings of all kind deed in Ramadan Inshaa Allah.
Sha’ban activities
In conjunction with this glorious month of Sha’ban, our teachers instruct children with Sha’ban activities that can determine their personality. The personality which inline to be perfect Khalifah in future. Refer to the diagrams; our children from Tadika UIAM Gombak2 sketched and joint the dotted line for the writing of Sha’ban. Then they cut and produced a wall decoration of 25 prophets.
Sha’ban activities – Memorizing & Wall deco 25 Prophets
Children love memorizing activities especially in this month. Amazing, they able to memorize surah and dua Nisfu Sha’ban with guidance!. However, while they create Wall decoration 25 prophets, they discover 25 prophets which consists in Islamic Studies subject.
Apart from Tadika UIAM Gombak2, other branches also took the initiative to carry out activities with the children in their centre.
Tadika UIAM Taman Bullion Mewah
Tadika UIAM Taman Bullion Mewah is located at No 1, Jalan Bullion Mewah 4, Taman Bullion Mewah 68100 Kuala Lumpur. During Sha’ban they did religious activity such as memorizing Shahadah. Besides that, children have the opportunity in memorizing they able to produce art and craft book mark Shahadah. Wow, a creative book mark has been produced!.
For Sha’ban activities, children enjoy and participate well in every activities. Example, in art & craft When they use their fingers to manipulate art materials such as crayon, color pencils, paint brush and etc, they are developing their fine motors skills as they use those small muscles in their hands. It helps them develop and master control of their fine motor skills, which is essential to social education.
Last but not least learning an art & craft is the main element for growth and development. Besides that, Arts and crafts provide a child with a unique and improve their skills especially in life skills.
