How to make Ramadan fun for our children? Come in and take a look!
Making Ramadan fun for our children will help them to practice fasting. Although fasting is not compulsory until children hit puberty, but it is good for making Ramadan fun for children. Therefore, there are some activities which making Ramadan fun for our children:

We sing ‘nasheed’ together
Our teachers invite our children to listen to ‘nasheed’ especially during circle time activity. Besides that, during circle time also they recite dua’ for Ramadan.

Besides that, our teachers teach children the dua’ for fasting. During this session we play song for dua’ for fasting. It is effective because children love singing. Therefore, through singing they will be able to memorize dua’ for fasting and dua’s to break their fast.
We tell the children to recite the ‘niah’ every day before dawn. In the previous year we organize pre Ramadan simulation at all our branches. Other than that, our teachers will share story about Ramadan. Congratulations to Tadika MIDA Genius one of our branch.
Some of the important knowledge about Ramadan such as:
- Intention of Fasting (niyyah)
- Dua’ break their fast
- Suhoor
- Iftaar
- Sadaqah or good deeds during Ramadan
- Making Ramadan fun for our children- ‘Sadaqah jar’
Our teachers encourage children to practice good deeds during Ramadan. Something special where they create ‘Sadaqah Jar’. Interesting right? Whenever they did a good deed, they put a coin or notes RM1 into the jar.
Islam is the religion that teaches you the way to live life. Therefore, the best practice to teach our children here to love Allah and to obey his commandments is by teaching them How to Pray (Solah) and give them opportunity to be ‘Imam’ or led Solah.
Our respective teachers tell children about Ramadan. Therefore, in conjunction with 1st Ramadan that falls on Sunday 3rd April 2022 we are preparing them the fundamental knowledge about Ramadan, the Holly month. Ramadan is a time for reflection, benevolence, self-control, discipline and greater commitment to Allah the Almighty. Therefore, we are here to assist them and prepare them in fasting.
